Edward Chalmers Leavitt: New England Beach Scene
This list was inspired by the song I cannot get out of my head. Do you know that song? The one I thought was Kicked by the Ocean only to find out, from my very amused children, is called Cake by the Ocean? I don't usually bring cake to the ocean, but I always bring a book and I hope you will too.
We are so lucky to have a wide variety of beach options to visit, enjoy and learn about. I hope all of you will have a day when you pack your picnic (cake if you must), a net for creature catching and a book and head to the beach.

Pig in the Pond by Martin Waddell
