Ansin Information Center
The library underwent a few changes over the summer. We expanded the YA section to allow for us to add to the collection and to provide a more casual seating area. There is a bulletin board in the YA section which will focus on two 8th grade concerns: the secondary school process and National History Day.
Special note for 8th Grade Parents: We have created a special Parent Info Page for the National History Day Project. This will be updated throughout the year with important dates and information about the project. We will continue to regularly prompt eighth grade students to inform you of relevant information. This is an important skill for them to be working on. However, this parent site will be available for for you as well.
I am looking forward to a great year with our upper school students!
Where do you find treasure?
In the Marshall Library we will spend the year looking for treasure - in our collection of books. We set sail around the "world of books" to help every reader find something they can treasure.
I am so excited to have the lab in the Marshall Library and looking forward to blending our print and online research activities with ease this year. The new layout in the library has energized even our experienced third grade browsers to see the books with fresh eyes. Come and visit!
